Josh Tomalin is a lighting designer and photographer for contemporary dance based in Manchester. Each part of his work feeds off of the other and depicts the power and beauty of movement.

His lighting work includes designs for choreographers including: Joss Arnott, James Wilton, Lea Anderson, Jamaal Burkmar, Anthony Missen, Kevin Edward Turner, Sharon Watson and Kevin Finnan.

Josh creates elegant portraits, production and documentary photography for dancers, companies, PR organisations and brands. Uniquely among dance photographers, as well as digital capture he also works extensively with analogue film.
