Alessandra Felci
DANCER
Alessandra Felci, Italian and Swiss dancer, was born and raised in Italy, where her deep passion for dance emerged at an early age. She began training locally and by age 14, moved to Milan to attend a ballet academy, furthering her classical foundation. At 16, Alessandra relocated to Switzerland, continuing her dance studies while broadening her expertise across various techniques, including ballet, contemporary, and tap. Her dedication to dance led her to participate in high-profile competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), Prix de Lausanne, and Tanzolymp. In addition to her academic achievements, Alessandra excelled in her linguistic studies, graduating from high school with the highest honours and receiving a merit-based scholarship.
At 18, Alessandra earned a scholarship to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where she graduated with First Class Honours. Her time at Laban allowed her to explore diverse dance techniques, performance skills, filmmaking and choreography. Her original piece, “Struggle Within”, was selected for the BA2 show, showcasing her creative vision. In her final year, Alessandra won the Innovation Award, which marked the beginning of her journey into filmmaking. She began producing her first dance short film, “Dance Has No Age”, a project that represents the start of her research into movement therapy, a field she has always been passionate about.
Throughout her time at Laban, she also worked as a ballet teacher, further nurturing her skills and sharing her love for dance with others.
Outside of dance, Alessandra has a deep passion for animals and often finds solace in nature. She also has a strong love for visual arts and crafts, enjoying the creative process of making things by hand. An active individual from a young age, she has participated in various sports, including skiing, climbing, and running. Alessandra’s diverse interests, combined with her dedication to dance and movement therapy continue to enrich and shape her artistic journey.
