Kezia Mountain

DANCER

Kezia was born and raised in the Cotswolds, where she began her dance journey at the age of three at her local dance school, Sheila Price Dance. Her love for dance was nurtured through weekly classes in ballet, modern, tap, and contemporary, enabling her to complete graded examinations with both RAD and ISTD. During this time, she performed in annual productions such as “The Nutcracker” and “Alice in Wonderland”, staged at venues including the Bacon Theatre, and also had the opportunity to perform with the Vienna Festival Ballet. It was through these experiences that Kezia decided she wanted to dance professionally.

Kezia went on to study on the BA (Hons) Dance Performance course at the University of Chichester. Throughout her three years of training, she supplemented her studies with professional classes with Lila Dance and at The Point, Eastleigh. In her final year, she toured with 3Fall Dance Company, performing works by Lila Dance, KJ Mortimer, and Glitch Dance Collective at various venues across the South of England. Her own choreographic work, “Both Sides of the Sky”, was selected to be part of the company’s mixed bill, showcasing her emerging voice as a dance artist.

Kezia is deeply inspired by music and the unique connection dancers form with it—whether theatrically, artistically, or choreographically. She has a particular love for vintage and older music, and enjoys creating movement that both complements and contrasts the sound through dynamic variation and a fusion of styles.
