Originally from Sydney, Australia, Larissa first developed her love for dance at her local dance schools, The Jazz Factory and Ev & Bow.
After completing a summer intensive at the Alvin Ailey School, NY, she was invited to stay to train with them for the next three years.
In her final year, Larissa became part of the Ailey’s young ASPG ensemble where she toured tri-state New York performing iconic pieces such as Revelations and Night Creature. During her time in there, she also danced as a guest artist alongside the company in the 2016 NY City Center Season’s Memoria, as well as performing in the Heatherwick Sculpture Unveiling Event.
In 2018, Larissa made the move to London to explore new horizons. Since then, she has been engaged in projects such as the Rambert dance company’s Summer Installation, as well as the iconic street performance of Cie Willi Dorner’s Bodies in Urban Spaces.
As a person, Larissa has a deep desire to keep learning and growing – she continues to see inspiration from artists all form around her. Offstage, she loves to cook, spend time in nature and going to the beach!
Larissa joined Joss Arnott Dance in 2019 for the creation of the company’s duet work ‘Head Above Water’.
