Born in Basel, Switzerland but brought up in Gloucestershire, Hannah began her training at a local ballet school, Mandy Godding’s Theatre Arts. She then went on to dance with several contemporary youth companies in the South West.
Moving to London, she trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she was awarded a First-Class Honours degree. During her training, Hannah had the pleasure of creating and performing work with choreographers such as Zoi Dimitriou and Alison Curtis-Jones and toured work by Yael Flexor. She also had the opportunity to take up a role as rehearsal director in the re-staging of a Merce Cunningham extract by former company member Daniel Squire.
Hannah has enjoyed a number of collaborations during her training, creating and performing with musicians and actors in physical theatre site specific works as well as producing a dance film which went on to be shown at in the Bonnie Bird Theatre.
Hannah has extended her training with summer schools at Rambert and PARTS and undertaken placements with a variety of companies including Springs Dance Company, Beyond Repair Dance Company and Upswing aerial dance company.
As well as travel and surfing, Hannah is interested in aerial dance and dance science.
