About Us


Emily Pottage

Born in Nottingham, Emily started dancing at her local dance school at the age of three. Emily started her training at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2010 and during this time she performed in works by Kerry Nicholls, Mark Baldwin and Ross McKim.

During her second year at Rambert, Emily received the Charlotte Kirkpatrick Prize, which is awarded in recognition of effort, talent and exceptional potential for a future career within the dance industry.

Emily joined NDCWales as an apprentice dancer in 2013 and performed in works by Stephen Shropshire, Angelin Preljocaj, Eleesha Drennan, Stephen Petronio and Christopher Bruce. Emily has also worked with Rambert Dance Company, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Neville Campbell and was a guest artist on National Dance Company Wales’ international tour. Emily then went on tour with Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, performing The Royal Opera House Commission, ‘Bayadère – The Ninth Life’.

Emily joined Joss Arnott Dance in 2015 for their creation and tour of 5|0. Since then Emily has worked with Shobana Jeyasingh Dance and De Oscuro Theatre Company as well as continuing to work with Joss Arnott for of ‘A Movement in 3’. She has performed the solo ‘V’ nationally and internationally since 2015, receiving it’s International Dance Award in 2016.
