Abbi is 21 years old and from Widnes. From the age of 4 she attended local dance schools learning a variety of different styles. After falling in love ballet and contemporary dance she moved to London to train at Trinity Laban where she has recently been rewarded with a BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance.
During her time at Laban she had the opportunity to work with a variety of inspiring dancers, choreographers and teachers; such as Gary Lambert, Liz Alpe and Henry Montes. In her second year of study Abbi had the experience of being in a recreation of Jose Limon’s ‘A Choreographic Offering’ with Jacqueline Bulnes. As well as this, for her final project at Laban she danced in a piece of choreography by Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet entitled ‘Dexter’. Additionally, Abbi has completed two placements that included teaching dance to young children in her local community.
In her free time, she enjoys watching films, hiking, photography and art.
